House Fire 411 E. 57th St. S.
MAP
Q19 arrived on scene had a fully involved mobile home trailer. Q19 advised this was going to be a defensive fire as soon as he sized up the scene. SQ19 went up to assist the Quint with fire attack. SQ12 took command once he arrived on scene and E12 gave Q19 a jumper line since there were no hydrants in the area and the closest one was on the other side of Broadway. Command assigned BAT34 to safety due to the amount of involvement of the trailer. 182 took over the roles of safety after he arrived on scene. BAT2 assisted SQ12 with command. SQ12 requested a tender to respond due to the lack of hydrants in the area. T36 ran a jumper line to Q19 until the fire was under control then topped of E12. Units were able to get a quick knock down of the fire.
